I havent posted here in so long...

I have mentioned briefly that I'm creating a video game based on the OC characters here on my account that I have previously asked other artists to commission for me. The opportunity came up for a video game project and also use/adapt the current roster of OC characters I had that I use for various fan fiction stories, so look forward to seeing them in the flesh at some stage. I'll also be using those same character for fiction writing and the occasional posting of paid for commissions (from other artists) here on my account.

A little about the game. Its going to be in Unreal Engine 5. Those of you who know of this , know how realistic it is. And it'll be RPG, similar to the fantasy games out there with all thier RPG character selection systems and information, but with a twist.

The project is an integrated video game-theme park development project. When I can tell you more about the concept I will, I just can't for legal reasons right now. But if any of you out there would like to know more or want to get involved via financial donations, feel free to message me for more info. As part of my entrepreneurial startup I have registered a club where people can donate, under a rewards ambassador system. Donations/membership fees to a registered non profit organisation are tax deductible, at least they are here. The club has a general membership and VIP program for more passionate members, but the ambassador program supercedes that. What this means that anyone who donates to help the project, will earn points under the club to earn personal ranks and other benefits, and the ambassadors will have first access to any part of my project as well as any services and products before anyone else, with discounts as well. Once the game is live, you'll also be able to use these points for game and other points purchases through a program we are setting up later as well.

The minimum ambassador reward is from $1K upwards, so its not cheap. Video game creation and theme park development isn't a cheap endeavour! If you just want to join Excelsior Club as a general member or VIP then that's ok too, joining now will help secure your place for later anyhow, that is quite cheap for those with limited funds right now. Just bear in mind too that some extra requirements will be needed for VIP.

We haven't finished setting up the websites and forums yet, but when we do, we'll let you know. Our core forum will be on Mighty Networks and also Discord for when the game is active. We will also have some items available via the club and the company to sell and fundraise for the project and we will let you know when that website is available to buy from. Just a heads up for later, if you intend on joining the Mighty Networks forum, you'll have to use your real name that you registered through the club with, I'm sorry if you don't agree with that, but its one of those legal things we are implementing for the safety and well being of everyone.

I also do a lot of work via counselling and life coaching (with certifications), like my own ASD condition, I specialise in Autistic Spectrum Disorder issues, so via the club you can get that added support of highly reduced costs of these services as I will only be supplying my skills to the club. Other people will be able to register their skills via the club as well, kind of like creating a transparent and reliable system for members to get services and support from other members and the community.

Why am I telling you all this? Well I've been part of the DA community for years and I'd like to share and network with other members of the site. I don't know if there is any way I could support other artists via the game as yet, but anyone who might want to be a part of the project or support it, is most welcome to do so, be it game development, designs and such. Hi all, I know I've been away for a very long while (like two years!) but I needed a break. As for updates, yes I'm still working on my video game creation and theme park development project and these things take a long time. As of yet I can't post any visuals or info about the game due to legal reasons but rest assured that the original characters I have here on my account will end up being in the game. With these characters, they'll be reinvented and tweaked to fit the game/story they're put into, as I have done so many times over the years with different fan fictions I have used them for.

I am planning on running a social club alongside this creation as well and now and again I will post special material through this account exclusively for the deviant art community as it has been supporting me for over a decade now and I'd at least like to give something back. Though it may be a little while before the game is ready for players to join but keep your eyes open.

On a side note, I'm after some artists to assist with concept art for the game. This will be paid work and any finished products will be posted here on Deviant art (under creative commons licensing) and reference given to the artist for thier work. The artist needs to be of professional level skill and have a portfolio here on Deviant art to showcase experience and previous work and be reasonably priced, as well as potentially be able to do multiple artworks. Style preference is digital art in a realistic or animated type style (no anime/manga/fusion styles please), freelance artists are welcome. Please note that your work may lead into doing ongoing art work for the game itself. I'm Australian based, so I will welcome overseas artists, but please bear in mind payments will only be via paypal.
