Cockatoo Crossstitch

So this is what I do in my spare time, nifty Huh?

Well it turned out alot better than I thought it would, and especially since the complete line I missed, marked in blue pen across the middle of the picture doesn't show as much in the scanned picture.

I didnt use full cross stitch methods as this is the first one I have done in like 20 years and wanted to do it my own way. I went with a vertical pattern and bordered all the sections, despite the outcome being very different from the instructions, I think this turned out very well, and would willingly do anotehr, I just have to find another picture to do. I always loved sewing and stitching with my hands as a child and still do now! I always put alot of love into dressmaking, sewing and stitching and the like and this is a prime example.

I have a passion for Australian and wild Parrots and wanted to do one, a symbol of Australia so to speak, a Sulfer Crested White Cockatoo.
